Va Legacy COVID 19 Update

Virginia Legacy Parents, Players and Families

We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and want to provide everyone an update based on the information we have as of now.

We are fully aware that this will most likely change over the next few days and we will provide another update on Monday morning – March 16th if not sooner.

We are working closely with the county/city schools and governments as well as Virginia Youth Soccer to establish the best plan of action going forward.

WE UNDERSTAND A LOT OF INFORMATION WILL COME OUT OVER THE NEXT HOURS/DAYS – PLEASE UNDERSTAND WE ARE IN THE LOOP ON ALL OF THESE DEVELOPMENTS AND AGAIN WILL PROVIDE AN UPDATE MONDAY MORNING AFTER ALL THE INFORMATION COMES IN FROM ALL THE APPROPRIATE GROUPS.

As of now all of the following is cancelled/postponed through Sunday, March 15th.

Recreational and TOPSoccer Program: tomorrows program meeting is cancelled (was scheduled for 6pm at the JCC Rec Center)
A program update for the spring season will be provided Monday morning if not sooner.

ADP (Advanced Development Program): tomorrows program meeting is cancelled (was scheduled for 6pm at the JCC Rec Center)
A program update for the spring season will be provided Monday morning if not sooner.

Travel Program:
Training/Practices – All practices cancelled Thursday March 12th and Friday March 13th. An update will be provided Monday with training plan moving forward if not sooner.

League Games – All league games are cancelled for Saturday/Sunday March 14th/15th – This is for the teams (U10 and U12) playing in the TASL league starting this weekend. An update for league games going forward for TASL, VSL and CCL – for all Legacy travel teams will be provided Monday if not sooner.

Tournaments – All Legacy Teams attending tournaments this weekend in Williamsburg, Richmond, Stafford and Virginia Beach have been cancelled. No games will be played for any travel teams Saturday/Sunday March 14th/15th. An update for any teams with remaining tournaments will be provided next week as we get more information from those events/areas.

We appreciate your understanding and patience in this time. Again as we put together the information we collect we will be in touch with more updates going forward. Please stay safe and follow the CDC guidelines. Do what is best for your families in this time. While everyone may have mixed feeling about the situation we are currently facing, we hope everyone understands the priority for our players and families is their health.
